RCIA Session 2011 (19th)
You may be wondering: Who can be a part of the RCIA?
- Someone who has never been baptized.
- Someone who is married to a Catholic and attends Mass but just doesn’t know what the next step is to become a Catholic
- Someone who has been baptized a Christian and wishes to be a Catholic.
- A person who has been baptized a Catholic, but not fully catechized, that is, not having received their first Holy Communion and/or the Sacrament of Confirmation.
You are invited to find out more about the Roman Catholic Church by participating in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) of the Church of Our Lady of Sorrow, City Parish. The RCIA provides doctrinal and spiritual formation for those desiring to enter the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, and discipleship, it allows each person to learn more about their journey of faith and be a Catholic through the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation at Easter. The new RCIA session (in English) will begin on Monday, 20th June 2011 at 8.30 pm at the Parish Meeting Room. RCIA sessions in Mandarin and Malay are also available.
